After waiting for a long time and a lot of thinking we got to the stage taking pictures of giant balloons and products. We took some pictures of the balloons some time ago. With the family digital camera- of course the pictures were not as good as professional and the weather was quite dull. We started having meetings discussing the matter of photos. My dad had a friend who was also in business of website optimization and web design. He had a friend that was a professional photographer with all the gear. So we booked a photo shoot at my dad's meeting room. I was very excited as getting a professional photographer to take pictures of the products I will be selling. With my self I had my brother and sister to model in the photos. With my dad's business partners daughters as well. I was pleased to have 8 people to give up there weekend involved in the project. As the photographer came in I told him that the largest product would be the 5' Giant round balloon. He was surprised as he only got a 4' white back round. The photos started and they were really good quality and looked amazing and would make the product very attractive.

As a young person I have always wanted to get my hands on adult life- working, earning money, driving etc. Of course I couldn't as I am young. My dad was setting up his own business with a working partner. And it was very interesting how enterprise works. I once went to the office and it felt really good to be in your own office and self employed. I then said to my self that how good it would be too generate an idea and produce a business that can make people pleased. I then started brainstorming as I wanted to produce an idea. There is no good in brainstorming, i think it is more about looking and hearing and experiencing things.
I went to my sister's party and the decorations of balloons stood out from the rest. And there were lots of kids who were playing with just 12" balloons. And I was thinking to my self what if the balloons were bigger. So as I found out I started researching on the Internet. There wasn't as many results- I did find some companies but they were not accessible in the UK. I motivated my self to research as much as I could. I didn't give up as i new that there would be a company that sold giant balloons at a good price and the quality was good. I then started looking in Europe directories and that did change a lot. This is where I found what I was looking for. And I then ordered a catalogue and asked for samples- as i looked at them they sparkled in my eyes. They were really fun and I knew at that point that the business will be successful and people would satisfied with the products. We then started ordering in bulk from the manufacture.

Id have to say overall in the stages of developing the idea, market researching, finding my suppliers- Without the creativity that I had from day 1, I would probably of given up by now. The journey was exciting, difficult and challenging and it prepared me for real life and this experience gave me things that I now know and cannot mistake. And I have also learnt that doing/ or being involved in business isn't all about success and money its about mistakes and challenges that can change your life.
